Into
the Change-Over
ARTISTIC TRANSLATIONS
THROUGH
KIM
EDWARD BLACK
The words and images seen here relate
not to one separate human being, a particular artist and his individual work,
though these are the vehicles to manifest Its meaning. This universal message,
expressed throughout Creation in an infinite number of ways, is nevertheless
Singular in purpose, and sorely needed in this most crucial point in human
history. It is One about All, reached by overcoming the illusion of diversity by
release of the old, and subsequent expansion into the new.
The homepage is appropriately named, for one can send their
focus to any link desired and always return to the beginning, the starting point
of the journey. This, in truth is our final evolutionary act... to return to our
original origin. And in
so doing, complete the circle.
The Story
is autobiographical, a life written about and illustrated, condensed and
simplified into a storybook format. It is the journey lived out through and from
an agreement made long ago to put into tangible terms not one man's vision, but
every beings purpose. In this context, the definition of being excludes nothing,
no one or no thing. All italics of The Voice are quotes taken from the book, 'Remembering
Tog: Into The Change-Over."
The Gallery
consists of this artists main body of work, which can be categorized into two
groups, portraits and conceptual nudes, with various subdivisions within each.
However classified, the work is figurative on the whole, the human plight
expressed through it's own form.
Tog
is the introduction to a story of an overwhelming presence of intelligence that
abruptly interrupted this artistic journey in the fall of 1997. First appearing
in a lucid dream as a glowing, yet indistinguishable energy aboard an
interplanetary ship, it later revealed itself through countless re-occurring
dreams in a calm, colorful and watery planet, until emerging at all hours of the day through uncontrollable impulses of automatic
writing. This would lead to a crash course of learning involving science,
history, mythology, religion, spiritual practices and relative personal accounts
describing where we have come from, the nature of our existence as
spiritual energy, and warnings of what may be ahead for us if this truth is not
fully realized. As dramatically as it started, so too, did the translations end,
leaving the knowledge that The Voice was one that had always bean heard within,
but rarely listened to.
The Dream, is simply a dream, whatever dreams may be. It is a gift given to reveal the
path of us
all to reclaim what we are…timeless, unlimited, endless, and belonging to the Cause of the effect we
mistakingly think we are. With this realization, we willl 'become' what we have
forgotten, and ultimately, move into what has always been.
